I am a retired fourth generation New York City firefighter, born in 1952 and raised in Queens, New York.

I started this website so you can view some of my oil paintings. They have been featured in several magazines and T.V. interviews. They are all over the world, even in Russia, hanging in the fire department museum in Moscow. The Lieutenant and the Probie was shown on Rescue Me. If you wish to order reproductions, there are a few types available with varying price ranges, from posters signed and unsigned, to signed and numbered limited edition giclee's and limited edition giclee's on canvas. The giclee process is very beautiful. It is more expensive but the colors are much closer to the original, so close that it is difficult to differentiate between a copy and the original. Check out the cityscape watercolors also. They are of different places around the city that appealed to me.

Thank you for visiting and please support all the men and women in uniform who defend us from crime, fires and terrorism. God Bless America.

Enjoy! Bill Bresnan.
